Jeff
A love of the outdoors, dogs, and physical fitness led Jeff on the journey of founding KC Dog Runners, LLC, Kansas City’s first and only dog running company. A husband, father, cyclist, runner, weight lifter, tennis player, hiker, and skier, Jeff practices yoga, has his black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has hiked the Appalachian Trail in 90 days (26 mile/day average), and has spent a winter perfecting back flips and moguls in Telluride, CO.
A graduate of the University of South Dakota’s Business School in 1998, Jeff has worked for Kansas City’s largest commercial insurance broker for the past six years, learning the ropes of the business world. Ready to get back to what he is passionate about, Jeff created KC Dog Runners.
Suzie – Dog Runner
They don’t call her Marathon Suzie for nothing. With over 20 marathons under her belt, Suzie will have no problem keeping up with your dog. She is an active member in the local trail running club – Trail Nerds and loves to run with her dog Jelly Bean.
Jessica – Dog Runner
An adventure racer, rock climber, tri-athelete, and a nanny, Jessica is a perfect fit for the KC Dog Runners team. She is currently working on her Masters of Library Science at UMKC. If you have a high energy dog that loves to run give us a call, her dog running schedule is quickly filling up.
Trevor – Dog Runner
Trevor is a man of many talents; he can sing, play the guitar, is a radio producer, and will soon be joining the police academy. He has two wonderful dogs that love to run. Trevor has a caring and engaging personality. We are thrilled to have him join our team.
Eliesa – Dog Runner
Eliesa is our second South Johnson County runner. While taking a break from culinary school, she is a welcome addition to our team. She will be attending a natural foods school in Boulder, CO next year. Whether fast or slow, Eliesa will keep up with your pup’s high energy!
Michael – Dog Runner
Michael is a senior at Rockhurst University, finishing up his MBA. Fortunately for us, most of his classes are in the evenings. He plays LaCrosse, and can run…fast. Michael is great with dogs and already has several new best friends. If you are in the Brookside area, give us a call; Michael only has a couple of open time slots left to run dogs.
